Wanda Reynolds

September 14, 1931 — March 28, 2020

Wanda Ailene Reynolds was born on September 14, 1931 in the rural community of Lovewell, Kansas. She was the daughter of Fred Eugene and Minnie Myrtle (Miller) Allen. Wanda attended grade school in Formoso, Kansas till the eighth grade. She attended Belleville High School and graduated with the Class of 1949. Except for two years in Salina, Kansas, Wanda lived most of her adult life in Denver, Colorado. She became a legal secretary of an Oil & Gas company. Most of her work was with their leasing of mineral rights. A lot of her spare time she was involved with several community services, especially for the elderly. In 2002, she moved back to the Belleville area where her family originated. She had an apartment in Clyde, Kansas for several years and when her health began to fail, she moved in to the Park Villa Home in Clyde. At the age of 88 years, Wanda passed from this life Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Park Villa Nursing home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Ray Allen and her sister Treva. She is survived a several nieces, nephews and cousins. A family graveside service and burial was held at White Rock Cemetery, rural Courtland, Kansas on Monday, March 30, 2020. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas was in charge of these arrangements.
