Belleville - Vivian Woolsey, 101, of Belleville died Feb.16, 2013. She was born May, 23, 1911 to Edgar & Myrtle Springer at Randall. Services are 1:00pm Wednesday, February 20 at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home. Burial in Randall Cemetery. Memorials to Republic County Hospital Long Term Care or the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Belleville. Vivian was baptized in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Randall. She attended the Randall Rural School and received her high school diploma. She taught in a 1 room school house until she married Ray Woolsey on February 10, 1935. To this union 2 children were born; Abbie Jane and Orman.

They moved to California in 1936 where they lived for 10 years until moving back to Randall. They purchased the grocery store that Vivian and Ray operated until 1955 when they moved to Las Vegas. Vivian worked in the grocery business until retirement in 1973. Ray passed in 1987 and she moved back to Belleville. Vivian attended her Randall Rural Class Reunion at age 100 in 2011.

Survivors are grandchildren, Vivian "Ginger" Woolsey and Vernon Woolsey; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy; son, Orman "Binky"Woolsey; daughter Abbie Jane Woolsey; brother Bascom "Bud" Woolsey; sister-in-law, Vera Nesmith-Dresslar, and many nieces and nephews.
