Thomas E. Derowitsch

Thomas Eric (Tom) Derowitsch, 53, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away in the early morning of February 2, 2024.

Tom was born July 18, 1970, in Dodge City, KS, the son of Donna and Lloyd Derowitsch.  He graduated from USD 459 Bucklin, KS, and Dodge City Community College.  

 He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.  He spent most of his adult life in Arizona working with the auxiliary Coast Guard and as an Arizona corrections officer before moving to the Denver area.  

 Tom is survived by his father and two brothers, Tim & Chad.  He was preceded in death by his mother.  

 He will be remembered and missed by his friends and family, whom he loved dearly, and remembered for his willingness to always lend a helping hand. 

 A private inurnment will be at Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home is assisting the Derowitsch family with arrangements.
