Stacy Lee Saip was born May 4 th , 1987 in Belleville, Kansas to his parents Sid Saip and Lynett Frenzen Saip. Stacy attended Belleville public schools graduating with the Class of 2006. He attended NCKVT at Beloit, Kansas specializing in auto mechanics. Following his schooling, Stacy worked for Reinke Manufacturing as a welder, Belleville Motor Sports as a welder, as an auto mechanic for Melton Motor Company and most recently at Rockin Oz Tires as a mechanic. Stacy had a lifetime affair with auto racing. He started at age three when he drove his dad’s pickup and trailer down to the neighbors’ yard without hitting anything. He started working on and building race cars while in high school and continued these activities until the end of his life. In the past few years Stacy was quite involved with the Belleville High Banks Hall of Fame and was to be President of the Board in the coming year. Also in past years, he assisted Doane Sells with the Crossroads Car Festival in Belleville. Stacy always had a smile on his face, never knew a stranger, and he certainly knew how to have fun. All this makes it so hard to know his life ended way too soon on Friday, June 9, 2017 when he passed from this life at his home in Belleville having just recently celebrated his 30 th birthday. Stacy will always be remembered by his father, Sid Saip (Donna Francis), uncles Lee Vizner and Garland Saip, his aunt Wanda Ray; cousins Trapis Vizner; Rodell, Damien and Justin Ray; Nicki, Brian, Candace and Chris Saip. His mother Lynett Frenzen Percell (Jerry); grandmother Maxine Frenzen, Longmont, Colorado; aunts Marlene Tucker (Richard), Cristi Zuege (Scott) and uncle Don Frenzen; cousins Rick and Brent Frenzen, Jordan and Spencer Zuege; and many racing buddies and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Jude Saip and Jack Frenzen; grandmother Betty McCollum (Frank); brothers Matt and Trinity Saip; aunt Judy Vizner and cousins Mark and Lon Miller. Our son Stacy was our world for 30 years, 1 month, and 5 days. We love him and will miss him.
