Robin Faye (Clermont) Thiede was born on December 29, 1967, in Brighton, Colorado, the daughter of Ron & Faye (Brooks) Clermont. Robin grew up in Colorado, attending school in Meeker, where she met her future husband Jason Thiede. They were united in marriage on March 5, 1985, in Blair, Nebraska, and to this union three children were born, Chance, Sierra, and Dakota.
Robin was baptized in the summer of 1981, dedicated as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She taught her children John 17:3 at an early age, “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” Another favorite scripture passages she referred to often was Psalms 83:18 and Psalms 37.
Robin led a nomadic lifestyle, always traveling with her parents and family. As she traveled she learned to speak Spanish, and became fluent in the language. This helped her in mission work and bible studies with Spanish speaking families in her travels. As she traveled with her family, she worked to map out locations for future mission work, to expand and grow her faith and congregations.
At an early age Robin was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Her faith kept her strong, as she continued to participate in many bible studies, and mission work. She was a practical person, and enjoyed helping her husband with his carpentry business, helping him with sheet rock, painting, and interior designs. She also enjoyed riding horses, painting, being outdoors, and even cutting wood. She dreamed of becoming a pilot and learning to fly, opening a bed & breakfast, and living off the grid in Alaska.
As her disease progressed, Robin remained strong in her faith and with her family, found comfort in Revelations 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Robin passed away on March 22, 2023, in Concordia, at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 22 days.
The family would like to thank the nurses and nursing home staff at Sunset Home and North Central Kansas Medical Center in Concordia, who provided Robin with wonderful care and comfort during the past few years.

She will be forever remembered by her husband Jason of Belleville, son Chance Thiede and his wife Sarah of Randall, daughter Sierra Medina and her husband Edu of Belleville, son Dakota Thiede of Belleville, grandchildren Dallas, Cassia, Fox and Grey.
