Paul Allen Lung was born January 18, 1943 to Percy Sr. and Carrie (Brenneman) Lung in Fairfield, Nebraska and passed away April 1, 2017 in Belleville, Kansas at the age of 74 years. He attended school in Minden, NE and graduated from Superior (NE) High School in 1963. The family moved to Belleville, Kansas in 1964. Paul worked in construction and as a handyman. He was creative, thoughtful, and enjoyed reading and life. He had a fun sense of humor and remained dedicated to his family and faith. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sister Charlotte Fox, and brothers Percy Jr. and Harry. He will be forever remembered by his brother James (Lois) Lung of Belleville and sister Gloria (Dan) LeDroit of Elkhorn, NE, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Belleville at 1:30 pm followed by a family and friends gathering in the basement of the Astra Bank in Belleville. Memorials are suggested to the family for further designation at a later time. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas assisted the Lung family with these arrangements.
