Pat Woods

Pat Woods, age 67 of Belleville, Kansas departed this life Tuesday, November 1, 2011 while a patient at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville. She was the first daughter of three girls born to John and Letha (Huncovsky) Patterson, Jr. on January 12, 1944 at Belleville, Kansas. Pat has one son from a previous marriage, Kenneth John. Later in life, she married Rex Woods on June 21, 1980. Pat was a dedicated homemaker, mother, daughter, sister, and a very special aunt. Pat loved K. U. sports, camping at the lake and overall being with family and special friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents John and Letha; grandparents Ivan and Bertha Boggs, John and Elsie Patterson; great nephew Jace Rudolph; and Rex's daughter Pam Nowak. She will be forever remembered by her husband Rex and son Kenny Kauer of Belleville; sisters Linda Melton and husband Jim, Belleville and Cindy Bergstrom and husband Reggie, Clyde; nephews and nieces: Jimmy and Kelly Melton, Jared and Lisa Melton, Josh Melton all of Belleville, Lacie and Edmond Rudolph, Lynelle and Bryan Feight of Clyde, and Loni and Darin Kindel, Concordia; great nieces and nephews: Trey, Taylyn and Carter Melton, Elsie, Lane and Locklund Feight, Gracie, Aiden, Kaiden and Jaiden Rudolph, and Elodee Kindel. Pat will be sadly missed, but never forgotten! Funeral services were held Friday, November 4, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, Belleville, Kansas with Pastor Lennie Maxwell officiating. Burial was in Belleville City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Republic County Relay for Life, Republic County Hospital or Tammy Walker Cancer Center. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home was entrusted with these arrangements.
