Lorene Violet Simek, age 90, died at her residence in Grove,
Oklahoma
on April 4, 2011. Lorene was the daughter of Lodis and Emma (Fisher) Kopsa. She was born on September 25, 1920 in

Kansas
. She was an owner of a General Store in
Cuba
. Lorene worked as a personal shopper at Levy's then Foley's, worked as a cook, a nursery helper for years at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church in
Tucson
,
Arizona
and a member of the Eastern Star. She continued her membership in the Cuba Presbyterian throughout the years. Lorene was a huge basketball fan, enjoyed taking care of her plants, and a great Christian woman who served in the church where she attended. Her parents, her husband John Paul Simek, Jr., daughter Janet Lorene Simek, two brothers Ben and Clarence Kopsa, and one grandson John Wilkinson preceded Lorene in death. Lorene will be forever remembered by her two daughters Judy Beyer and her husband John of Grove, Oklahoma, Kaye Wilkinson and her husband Phillip of Chanute, Kansas, three grandchildren, Jodi Wilkinson Hoffman (Tim), Jeff Beyer (Susan), Jason Beyer (Kirsten), five great-grandchildren Blake Hoffman, Morgan Smith, Logan Beyer, Gage Beyer and Piper Beyer; two sisters Emily Boyer, Belleville and Elsie Lawson, Agenda; other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Presbyterian Church in
