Laurie J. Tabor

Laurie Jean (Bruner) Tabor, of Belleville, KS, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of 43 years old. 

Laurie was born on April 27, 1980, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Larry and Susan (Keele) Bruner. She attended schools in both Belleville, Kansas, and Riverton, Wyoming.

She was united in marriage to Franklin Tabor on May 12, 1997 in Belleville, Kansas. This union brought three children, Billy, Charity, and Debbisue.

Laurie worked at various places throughout her life, the last and favorite of which was Lambert Vet Supply.

Laurie was loving, giving, and a child at heart. She loved camping and fishing, music, and playing tricks on people. Her most preferred activity was time spent with her family, especially the grandkids.

Laurie will be missed dearly by her husband Franklin Tabor; children Billy Tabor, Belleville, KS, Charity Comstock (Gunner), Belleville, KS, and Debbisue Tabor, Concordia, KS; grandchildren, Jordan and Grayson Comstock, Belleville, KS, and VictoriaRosaline Tabor, Concordia, KS; mother, Susan Johnson (Sid), Belleville, KS; and two brothers, Jeffrey Bruner (Holly), Casper, WY, and Larry Bruner Jr. (Anna), Concordia, KS.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Bruner, Sr., and a sister, Paula Gloria Marie Bruner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Rocky Pond in Belleville. At dusk, lighted lanterns will be set upon Rocky Pond to honor Laurie's life.

Memorials are requested to the Laurie Tabor Memorial Fund, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
