Kenneth Edward Jeno was born to Herbert and Charlotte (Johnson) Jeno in Rice County, Minnesota on November 14, 1938. He passed from this life at his home in Belleville, Kansas Saturday, December 29, 2012. He was 74 years of age. Kenneth was retired from the U.S. Navy serving most of his career of 20 years on various naval ships. He liked to say that he had truly sailed all the oceans and seas that a U.S. ship could go into. His last retirement was from Davis-Lynch in Pearland, Texas. Kenneth and wife Lillian moved to Belleville, Kansas to make their home in 2004. He was an active member of the American Lutheran Church of Belleville and the American Legion of Concordia, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-daughter Sandra and step-son Rick; a brother Harry and a sister Mary. Kenneth will be forever remembered by his wife Lillian of their home in Belleville; brothers Francis (Marcella), Jim and Danny (Karen) all of Minnesota; step-daughters Linda Tatman (Steve), Great Bend and Donna Schrepel (Alvin), Great Bend; step-son Ted Trinka (Jeanette); daughters Lisa and Laura Jeno; step-son Rodney Moss (Claudia), Osborne; step-daughter Elaine Moss (Alan) , St. Louis, MO; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. He will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of having him in their lives if only for a short while.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas with Pastor David Carlson officiating. Burial was in Belleville City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home was in charge of these arrangements.
