Julie Ball

Julie Ann Ball, daughter of Max and Mary (Sheridan) Ball, was born February 9, 1969 at Belleville, Kansas. She passed from this life Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Long Term Care unit of Republic County Hospital. She was 41 years of age. Julie grew up in the Belleville community attending public schools and graduating from Belleville High School with the Class of 1988. She furthered her education at Marymount College in Salina. Julie worked for several area businesses in Belleville. She became a transitional coordinator for OCCK in Concordia and worked there more many years. She enjoyed helping others. Julie enjoyed being outdoors, especially working with and arranging flowers, and being able take those rides on the motorcycle. Her greatest joy was watching her daughter Asti's activities. She was a proud mother! Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents. She will be greatly missed, but forever remembered by her daughter Asti Marie Long of their home; sisters Rosemary Burt and husband Dennis, Belleville and Carolyn Ball and husband Robert Jordan, Colorado Springs; brother Bruce Ball and wife JoDee, Belleville; nephews Chad, Brent and Heath Burt; special friend Mike Strait, Belleville; numerous other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father Barry Brinkman officiating. Family inurnment was in the Belleville City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Meadowlark Hospice or NCK Healthcare Foundation. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, was in charge of these arrangements.
