James William Craig, age 34, of Houston, TX, died Sunday, February 26, 2012. He was born September 1, 1977 at El Paso, TX to William & Jean (Levendofsky) Craig. James attended St. Mary's Hall and graduated from The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. As a youth, he was an award winning gymnast. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. James was an accomplished artist working with pottery. He worked with custom interior wall finishing and landscape design. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence J. & Gladys (Vieselmeyer) Levendofsky and William L. Craig. James is survived by his parents, Dr. William and Jean Craig; sister, Ann Befroy and husband, Douglas; brother, Andrew Craig; grandmother, Betty (Eye) Craig and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Rosary and Mass in San Antonio, TX was held 10:00am Monday, March 5 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 2:00pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Edward Catholic Church, Belleville, KS with Father Barry Brinkman officiating. Interment will be in St. Josaphats Catholic Cemtery rural Belleville, KS. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, 1104 20 th St., Belleville, KS 66935.
