Harry Henry

Harry Gale Henry, son of Albert Clark and Velora (Ellsworth) Henry, was born September 7, 1925 on the family farm near Mahaska, Kansas. He passed from this life Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, Kansas. He was 85 years of age. Harry was united in marriage to Grace Irene Ellis on June 2, 1947 and together they had two children John and Cathlene. Harry farmed most of his life until his health prevented him from physical labor. He really enjoyed going to auctions and the study of John Deere tractors. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brother Albert Dale; and a great grandson Ryan Tyler Carver. Survivors include his daughter Cathlene Carver and son John D. Henry of Mahaska, Kansas; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Graveside and inurnment services will be held 10:30am Saturday, July 16, 2001 at the Mahaska City Cemetery, Mahaska, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the family.
