Eric L. Taylor

Eric Lee Taylor was born on December 11, 1971, in Vancouver, Washington, to Gary & Darlene (Samuelson) Taylor, and he passed away on November 1, 2022.

Eric grew up on the family farm near Palmer, and graduated from Linn High School in 1990. He then attended Beloit Vo-Tech and Salina Vo-Tech, earning certificates in Welding and HVAC. A member of the Vintage Faith Church of Manhattan, Eric was devoted to his faith. He went on many mission trips, including Guatemala.

He was the 5th generation on the family farm, and Eric enjoyed the rural life. He was a member of the Palmer Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, self-repair and DIY projects, spreading the word of Christ, and was always willing to help others in need. 

Eric is preceded in death by his father Gary. He is survived by his mother, Darlene of Palmer, Kansas;  brother, Ian and his wife Krista of Callaway, Nebraska, and nephews, Cooper of Clifton, Kansas and Eli of Salina, Kansas; other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the LCL Buffalo Ranch, rural Clifton. Burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery, north of Clifton. 

Memorials are requested to the Vintage Faith Church or the Palmer Volunteer Fire Dept., and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
