Eleanor Elaine Esslinger was born on Feb 1 1935 at Hoxie, Kansas and was the 6th of 15 children born to Clarence and Lea (Allen) Foster and passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015  at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, Kansas at the age of 80 years. She graduated from Lenora Rural High School in 1952 and graduated from Fort Hays State University Department of Nursing in 1955 in the first Graduating Class. Eleanor moved to Belleville in 1959. She married Richard Esslinger on December 31, 1959 in Norton Kansas.  The couple later divorced. Richard passed away December 13, 2003. Eleanor lived a deep routed faith and while living in Belleville, she attended the Belleville Christian Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Lyle, Lawrence, Floyd and Howard Foster and sisters: Helen Bivens and Dorothy Vaughn. Eleanor is survived by her son Timothy Esslinger, Belleville, KS and daughter Sharon Jante, Powhattan, KS; her grandchildren, Joshua Pracht, Jeremiah Pracht, Jenna Hurts, and Colton Jante; great grandchildren, Kristopher, Lucas, Brianna, Alexis, Trinity, Riley, Katrina, Erica, and Gabriel; great, great grandchildren Lilliana and Rhyker; brothers: Robert of Plainville, KS, Gordon of Toutle, WA, Vernon of Topeka, KS and Clarence of Paola, KS; sisters: Thelma Beagley of Kansas City, MO, Erma Allison of Cedar Rapids, IA, Marilyn Miles of Warren, OR and Gloria Schmitten of Kansas City, MO; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the chapel of Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas. Inurnment will be in the Belleville City Cemetery.
