Carl Frint

Carl Ellis Frint age 72 of Belleville, Kansas passed from this life Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville. He was born September 27, 1942 in Belleville to Kenneth and Helen (Morehead) Frint. Carl graduated from Belleville High School with the Class of 1960. After graduated he attended an electronics vocational school in Denver, Colorado for two years. He returned to Belleville and was employed at Jim’s OK Tire. Following Jim Stroh’s death, he partnered with Jim’s wife Lil (Matheson) and Bob Blazek and the business became OK Tire. Carl was involved in this business for a total of 42 years before he retired. On April 7, 1973 Carl was married to Deanna L. Hansen in Concordia and they had one son Jeff. Carl was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed auto racing, was an incredible bowler, and avid golfer. He was a passionate Kansas City Royals and KSU Wildcats fan. Carl will be forever remembered by his wife Deanna of their home; son Jeff and wife Nancy and step granddaughters Rachael & Dawn all of Abilene, Kansas; sisters Janet Price and Diane Rhine and brother Gary and wife Peggy of Belleville; mother-in-law Lucille Blecha, Concordia; brother-in-law Roger Hansen, Glendale, Arizonian; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas. Burial was in the Belleville City Cemetery. Memorials in honor of Carl may be made to the Republic County Hospital or the Central Christian Church of Belleville. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas assisted the Frint family with these arrangements.
