Angela Baskins-Tankard

Angela LeaAnn Baskins-Tankard, age 50 of Wichita, Kansas, was born April 27, 1966 in Concordia, Kansas to Lyle and Sharon Kay (Stansbury) Baskins.  Angela was a phenomenal nurse and had worked for more than 25 years in various Long Term Care facilities. She possessed an incredible love for people that overflowed into the lives of her family, friends, and patients. Her strong Christian faith was a strength of hers and an inspiration to those around her. Angela is most remembered for how loving, honest, hardworking, compassionate, and understanding she always was. Angela’s life on this earth came to a sudden close for us, as she went on to be with Jesus on Friday, July 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Wanda Herron; and brother David Harper. She will be forever remembered by her husband of 26 years Ronald; daughter Amber Herron-Smith and husband Ryan; step-sons Eric, Tyran, Frank, Nathan, and Quentin; grandsons Drew and Gavin Smith; several step-grandchildren; sister Pamela Cabrera-Olivares; brother Donald Harper; four precious nieces Alicia, Misha, Natasha, and Amanda; great nieces and nephews; aunt Brenda & uncle Pete Cummings and very close cousin Crystal, not to mentions many cousins & wonderful life-long friends. She will always be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, “Granny”, Aunt Angie, Sister, Niece, Cousin, and friend.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas with burial in Balch Cemetery, Formoso, Kansas. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Angela Baskins-Tankard Memorial.
